Miles Smith will perform in Cape Town before headlining at ParkLive in Johannesburg.
British musician Miles Smith will headline the 11th annual ParkLive Music Festival later this month, performing alongside some of the country's biggest bands.
Smith, who started playing guitar at the age of nine, is a singer who is a hot topic on streaming services. solo and my house.
His popularity soared last year with the release of a string of originals and catchy covers that mixed folk, Americana and pop, and he'll play Cape Town before headlining Johannesburg's ParkLive.
Smith will perform at Cape Town's Grand Arena on August 22 before appearing at a festival at Marks Park in Johannesburg on August 24.
ParkLive Music Festival has become a beacon for music lovers, attracting thousands of attendees who share a deep passion for live performance, sensational atmosphere and a celebration of artistic expression.
From its humble beginnings, the festival has grown into a major local phenomenon, known for its focus on fusing genres and embracing both established and up-and-coming artists.

Smith's fanbase
Smith's passionate fan base is evident from his 135 million streams, over 600,000 followers on Instagram, over 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and approximately 850,000 followers on TikTok.

“The title represents a profound yet neutral statement that takes on added meaning depending on the reader's perspective,” Smith said.
“For this project, my own story and the stories of those around me were used to create the work, but it's the listeners' stories and journeys, depending on where they are in life and what they're feeling, that really bring the work to life. I hope this work gives people a space to uncover their own meaning.”
Speaking to Billboard last month, Smith said, “I want to be an album artist. There's only so much you can say with an EP or a single.”
In addition to the lineup, Parklive also offers an all-inclusive experience: festival-goers will have access to a curated food and drink village where they can indulge in a range of culinary delights to tantalise their taste buds. From gourmet street food to craft drinks, there is something to suit every palate, ensuring the festival is a feast for all the senses.
South African artists performing at the long-running festival include Mi Casa, Prime Circle, duo Veranda Panda Droomsindroom and Pixie Whip.
This year's festival will take place at Marks Park in Johannesburg from 24 August.
