King Charles said during a visit to the south of England that he has been “very touched by the letters and messages that people have sent me from all over.”
“He is doing very well under the circumstances,” Camilla said, adding that all the kind messages she had received from the king were “very encouraging”.

The queen left Charles III at the royal residence in Sandringham, eastern England, where the couple moved on Tuesday.
The 75-year-old monarch began treatment for an unspecified type of cancer on Monday, less than 18 months after taking over the throne following the death of her mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The monarch will continue to carry out some government duties, but will remain out of public life indefinitely.
On Tuesday, Chancellor Rishi Sunak said the cancer had been “caught early”.

Downing Street said on Wednesday that the king's weekly audience with the prime minister was held by telephone, an unusual move for traditional, completely private meetings between the king and heads of government.
According to British media, face-to-face talks should resume within two weeks.
