East London, South Africa (April 18, 2024) – World Waveski Surfing Titles (WWST) proudly announces a strategic partnership with Buffalo City Tourism. This collaboration represents a significant milestone for both companies, uniting their commitment to adventure, culture and sporting excellence within the City of Buffalo.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Nahoon Reef in the Nahoon Nature Reserve, the World Waveski Surfing Title promises to dazzle audiences. Buffalo City Tourism's involvement means this experience will allow visitors from near and far to discover the hidden gems of this unique coastline. Buffalo City, with its rich historical and cultural heritage, serves as your gateway to adventure in the Eastern Cape. The partnership between WWST and Buffalo City Tourism will bring much-needed positive impact to the region and its surrounding areas.
“Buffalo City Tourism is excited to support WWST in 2024,” said Nosisa Rubshe, Buffalo City Tourism.
“This partnership with WWST will bring brand exposure to the City of Buffalo and strengthen social cohesion. This event will bring economic spin-offs and investment opportunities to the city, benefiting local businesses, tour guides, hotels and banks. It will benefit merchants, the security industry, B&Bs, shopping malls and gas stations,” she further said.
From June 28 to July 7, 2024, more than 100 athletes from 15 countries will converge on our shores to compete for the coveted title of World Champion. Officially sanctioned by the World Wave Ski Surfing Association, the biennial event promises high-flying action in big, powerful waves on the famous Nahoon reef. But it's not just for professionals. WWST will also host Demo Days, inviting children and adults to experience wave ski surfing under the world's best instruction.
