Just when social media users thought they had seen it all, Tito Mboweni has shared his latest culinary adventure. And this time is probably still shocking for him.
The former finance minister live-tweeted during another late-night cooking session. But his followers couldn't decipher what was written on the menu…
Followers confused by Tito MBOWENI's cooking
Tito Mboweni, who holds degrees in economics and political science, is known for his daring cuisine.
And living on the edge is probably the best way to describe what Tito had to cook.
“Preparing dinner,” he tweeted this week. At the same time, he posted a photo of a pot of meat (an animal no one knows about) and a cutting board strewn with red and green chili peppers.
Tito didn't add an abundance of the usual ingredients like onions, peppers, and garlic.
This unidentified mouth-watering dish quickly became a trending topic on social media. Many people wanted to know what Tito was cooking and whether he actually ate it.
@ishy_msipa: “Why you are still alive is a question only God can answer.”
@AntonyNgele: “I feel sorry for your stomach.”
@freemanchari: “Chef Tito, we are ready to serve Tetanus.”
@EldenPoes: “We need forensic experts to identify the body.”
@_officialMoss: “Your cooking is getting worse day by day.”

Cooking is a way to relieve stress
There is literally no fan of his cooking other than Tito Mboweni, but the 65-year-old loves his hobby.
In 2019, he tweeted: “There's something calming about cooking. It takes away stress and makes you a better person. There's nothing inferior about cooking. In my zone, cooking is upper class!”
A former finance minister has also objected to claims that cooking is a “women's job.”
When a follower told him in 2020 to “find a wife,” he replied: Why is cooking involved in getting a wife? Why do we gender cooking? I can cook delicious food. Hibo! ”.
Tito has also been approached by professional chefs such as Siva Mtongana and Fikile Zungu, as well as amateur chef Somizi Mhlongo.
In 2022, he received a cookbook as a gift from a friend.
He tweeted, “Looks like my cooking needs professional help.”
I don't know if that helped, but
In 2022, Discovery Vitality claimed to be “inspired” to create a dish called “Tito's Sardine Pie” that was served during a cooking course.
