Van Blerk and Elandre will perform at the Cape Town venue as part of the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concert.
Kirstenbosch events and tourism manager Sarah Stroys said Bok van Blaak and Elandre, which will be held at the venue this Sunday, will be a celebration of Afrikaans music.
“Having Bok van Blaak and Elandre here allows us to celebrate the richness and evolution of Afrikaans music in an uplifting and inspiring environment.
“Their music captures the stories and emotions that so many people hold dear. It will be an unforgettable afternoon filled with passion, culture and world-class artistry,” Stroys asserted.

Kirstenbosch brings live music to Cape residents
Over the past few weeks, dating back to the Christmas season, Kirstenbosch has hosted several intimate shows, including a New Year's Eve performance by Loyiso and Will Linley.
Freshly Ground also recently took to the Kirstenbosch stage, while South African favorites Mango Groove also celebrated their 40th year in the music industry by performing at the venue last Sunday.
South African singer-songwriter Van Blerk is excited to perform in Kirstenbosch for the first time this weekend and will share the stage with fellow Afrikaans singer Elandre.
“Playing in Kirstenbosch for the first time is a truly momentous occasion. The gardens are more than just a venue, they are a cultural landmark with huge meaning for both the artists and the audience.” Remoene the singer said.
Elandre said performing at Kirstenbosch was an incredible honor and a milestone in his musical journey.

Elandre echoed Stroys' words, adding that the show is not just about music, but also about building connections.
