Chidinma to take part in Miss Universe Nigeria pageant after withdrawing from Miss South Africa 2024
South African-born model, Chidona Vanessa Onwe Adesina has accepted an offer to take part in Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
After withdrawing from the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant due to bullying and a report on her mother by the Department of Home Affairs, the beauty queen decided to withdraw from the competition for her own safety and that of her family.
Chidinma Adesina on Wednesday announced that she will be taking part in Miss Universe Nigeria.
“Acceptance letter from Silverbird Group, organizers of Miss Universe Nigeria. Hello everyone 🫶🏾 My name is Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adesina and I cannot start this video without expressing my gratitude to all the amazing/incredible people who have shown me so much love and support. I have received an invitation from Silverbird Group, organizers of the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant to participate in Miss Universe Nigeria 2024. I say this with so much excitement as I have decided to accept this invitation,” she wrote.
“I understand the responsibilities and expectations that come with this title and am extremely excited to embark on this journey. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to participating in Africa's most prestigious beauty pageant, Miss Universe Nigeria,” the former Miss South Africa finalist added.
