Child actor Mangaliso Artha Mthembu recently spoke about her career and the dream that brought her into the spotlight.
Mangaliso is currently starring in the Showmax family comedy alongside Zakhele Mabasa and Sihle Ndaba. 1 week.

“In 2022, my mom told me there was a show that needed kids, so she and I sprang into action and did a video audition and sent it to the production company.
“A few weeks later, I was informed I got the role. I was so excited! Fast forward to December 2023 and we started filming. The rest, as they say, is history.”

Mangaliso talks about working with Zakhele and Sile
Mangaliso said he enjoyed acting alongside Sihele and Zakre, adding that they were a lot of fun to be around on set.
“It hardly felt like work. The best part was when we all gathered in the dressing room after rehearsals. We were just chatting and singing and it was a really fun atmosphere.”
“Oh, working with Uncle Siphiwe Mtshali and Uncle Mpho Malatsi was pure chaos. If you think these two are funny on screen, you have no idea how crazy it gets behind the scenes.”
Speaking about her new plans, Mangaliso said she wants to become a reality TV star.
“After One Week, I'd like to be on a kids' reality show or play a kid gangster.”
