Real Housewives star Liz Printz is gearing up for this year's Durban July with high expectations and a unique vision.
Liz: Gukebera's Real Housewives (RHOGQ)) and more recently Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip – South Africa.
In an interview with The Citizen, the reality TV star spoke about his enthusiasm for the event and how he plans to capture the essence of the “Ride the Wave” theme.
The highly anticipated horse racing event is scheduled to take place on July 6 at Greyville Racecourse in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
“I love the theme – the ocean. The ocean waves are so powerful, so strong, they have the force of a Durban July racehorse. They're fierce, strong, powerful.”

Liz captures the essence of the theme of “Ride the Wave”
Liz said that to realise her vision, she commissioned a local designer from Gkebera to create the dress.
“We have a local designer at GQ (Gqeberha) who makes dresses for us. They're comfortable and I like to show off my leg. The wave theme is my inspiration.”
“I wish the designer who designed Tyra's Met Gala dress could design my dress too. The sand dress is perfect for this year's theme.”

Aside from fashion, Liz is also eager to reunite with her co-stars. Log And I look forward to betting on the winning horse.
“I'm also looking forward to meeting my UGT (Ultimate Girls Trip) co-stars and, of course, betting on the winning horses.”

The Hollywoodbets Durban July, held on 6 July, will once again welcome fans to the 128th running of the iconic race at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse.
This year's theme is: Riding the Wavepromises to be a fantastic event, with a limited number of general admission tickets priced at R230, giving you a front row view of the racing action from the grandstands and trackside lawns.
Attendees will also enjoy live DJ performances, a runway and a public fashion competition. Tickets are available from Ticketpro, SPAR Payzone kiosks and select Sasol stores. Parking is available for R170.
