The award was established in 2008 by Mbokazi-Nkamburu to celebrate the best of gospel music in South Africa.
For the first time, the Crown Gospel Awards will be held without its founder, the late Zanele Mbokazi-Nkamburu.
The award's new executive producer, her husband and business partner Bishop Mpendulo Nkamble, shared a new logo bearing Mbokazi-Nkamble's image in her memory.
“The sight of a smiling Zanele emblazoned with the words 'The Legacy Continues' will serve as a powerful reminder of her impact on the South African music industry,” the Crown Gospel Awards said in a statement.
Mbokazi Nkambure, 52, died in August this year at Parklands Hospital in Durban after a battle with lung cancer.
Mbokazi Nkamburu is also a broadcaster on Ukhozi FM and hosted a Sunday morning spiritual program. Eshiro It was broadcast from 9 a.m. to noon.

This year's Crown Gospel Awards will introduce new categories. The Best of Africa category, open to artists from outside South Africa, is a new edition of the awards.
Winners of this award will tour the United States after the ceremony to support their career growth and international activities.
Nominees for this year's Crown Gospel Awards will be announced at the end of October.
Prior to the awards, the Iziko conference will be held to discuss artificial intelligence (AI) in the music industry and how artists can leverage AI and advanced technology to grow their music and their fans.

Performer announcement
The South African Music Awards (Sama), which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, on Monday announced this year's list of performers.
