When President Cyril Ramaphosa called his wife, Ms Tshepo, journalists attending the ANC NEC meeting let out an “ah” and “ah”.
President Cyril Ramaphosa once again showed his sweet 'cupcake' side during a telephone conversation with South Africa's first lady, Dr Tshepo Motsepe, on Sunday 27 October.
President Ramaphosa was scheduled to deliver the closing remarks at a four-day special session of the African National Congress (ANC) National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni.
During the conversation, the president asked his wife to find him an ANC tie and cufflinks with a particular stripe.

A group of journalists nearby rushed to get President Ramaphosa on camera, prompting him to explain to his wife why he was smiling.
“No, I have people following me,” he joked.
The biggest surprise was when I heard him call her “Mom.”
“And mom…yes, sweetheart…bring me some cufflinks.”

“That kiss”
This is not the first time South Africans have gotten a glimpse of the loving relationship between the president and his wife.
The Citizen We reported on “that kiss'' they exchanged at the inauguration ceremony of the 7th President Ramaphosa, which took place on June 19th this year.
After signing the oath in front of then Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, the president-elect walked up to his wife and gave her a sweet kiss before taking his seat. Afterwards, the couple was seen laughing together like naughty elementary school students.
The encounter between Tshepo and Cyril
Motsepe married Ramaphosa in 1996.
The doctor is the president's third wife. Ramaphosa was married to Hope Ramaphosa from 1978 to 1989, with whom he had a son, Andile, and from 1991 to 1993, he was married to the late businessman Nomajizi Mshosisa.
In an interview with pasela, Motsepe revealed she met Ramaphosa on a blind date. It was founded by a friend when she was 33 years old.
“My friends kept telling me that I was getting older and needed to settle down. He was not my first choice, but my sixth choice,” Motsepe revealed in an interview.
