Earlier this week, the president took to social media to congratulate Tyra on her Grammy win.
The prestigious awards took place on Sunday in Los Angeles, California, and were hosted by world-renowned television host and comedian Trevor Noah.
Tyra made history by becoming the youngest African artist to win the Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance.
The music star was nominated alongside Burna Boy, Isla Star, Davido, Asake and Olamide.
Prime Minister Ramaphosa told X that Thira's victory reaffirmed the country's sustained achievements around the world.
