The case was argued before the full bench on January 23 and 24, 2023, and judgment was reserved.
In its ruling, the court said: “There is nothing unconstitutional in allowing political parties to influence the direction of government policy, including the appointment of senior officials to the civil service, as long as public officials are protected from abuse.''
