In South Africa's general election, the Democratic Alliance (DA) comfortably won 75.3% of the international vote.
This resulted in 100% of the international votes.
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) won 4.4% of the vote and the ANC 3.92%.
“Among South Africans living overseas, 58,802 were registered to vote in this election. However, only 67% cast their ballot in their respective countries, meaning 32 votes out of 39,116 were invalid. The largest number of votes were cast by South Africans living in the UK.”

Meanwhile, while more than 90% of votes have been counted nationwide, only the Northern Cape has completed its official count and verification.
Of the 21,000 polling stations that confirmed results, the ANC came out on top with 41.03% of the national vote, a significant drop of 16% from 2019.
In the Northern Cape the ANC won almost 50% of the vote.
Despite the overall result, the ANC will remain the largest party in seven of the nine provinces, but in provinces such as Gauteng it will likely need to form a coalition to gain a governing majority.
The MK party is expected to be the largest party in KwaZulu-Natal with 45.5% of the vote, while the DA is expected to maintain control in the Western Cape with just over 53% of the vote, with counting nearly complete.
