“It's dangerous!'' Fans were furious at ABC after the station prematurely announced the winner of the “Celebrity'' series during the finale.
During Tuesday's episode, a commercial revealed that contestant Lisa Ann Walter will appear as a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Many expected her to take home the trophy.
Several fans took to social media to share their disappointment with the network.
“Thank you @ABCNetwork for spoiling the winner of Celebrity Jeopardy with an in-show pop-up ad featuring Jimmy Kimmel guest Lisa Ann Walter 20 seconds into the tournament finals,” one viewer tweeted.
“@CelebJeopardy Not cool. Right after the finals started there was a commercial rollout with champion Lisa Ann facing Kimmel. Not cool,” added another.
“Lisa Ann Walter will be on @jimmykimmel tonight so is it safe to say she won? I don't want to speculate or spoil anything. #CelebrityJeopardy,” a third person wrote.

“Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it feels pretty ABC to advertise that one of the Celebrity Jeopardy Championship contestants will be appearing on Kimmel later that night. It felt like a spoiler,” said another excited viewer.
The “Parent Trap” star, 60, initially followed in the footsteps of Katie Nolan and Mo Rocca after the double and triple Jeopardy rounds.
However, Walter notes that “many mystery fans attribute Mary Roberts Rinehart's 1930 novel The Door, in which a servant kills a nurse, to this four-word cliché.” After answering the crisis clue, he made a comeback.
The “Abbott Elementary” star responded, “What is The Butler Did It?” After she bet almost all of her money.
“I got on well with them at first, but then I fell behind because my buzzer thumb wasn't working properly,” she told host Jimmy Kimmel during her appearance.
“I knew all the classical composers, I knew everyone, but I just couldn't get into it. So I was behind. One of them was going to win. , there was absolutely no chance for me.”
She ultimately won the game for a total of $27,500, while Nolan and Rocca's final bets were reduced to $0 and $1,100, respectively.
Walter also took home $1 million in entertainment community funds.
