X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, is full of social media users mourning the late DJ Dimples (real name Boitsumelo Atiel Mooi), who passed away in 2022.
'Rest In Peace': Fans mourn late DJ Dimples
DJ Dimples' death was confirmed in a statement shared by the Mooi family. Tsusa LIVE report. “It is with deep sadness that the Mooi family announces the untimely passing of Boitumelo Atiel Mooi, popularly known as DJ Dimples,” the statement read.
According to a statement from his family, DJ Dimples (40 years old at the time of his death) passed away on March 6, 2022 due to a sudden cerebral hemorrhage.
The late rapper, described as a gentle giant, was buried in an intimate private funeral on March 11th. citizen report.
The service is said to have taken place at Shekeshe Mokosi, where close friends and family gathered. Prayers and gospel hymns reportedly lifted the spirits of those in attendance.
Before his death, the Soweto-born pop Bottles pioneer featured the late Ricky Rick on a 2014 remix version of the song. Atombazane.
Riky Rick, whose real name was Rikkad Muziwendlovu Chifaro Makhado, has also sadly passed away. Coincidentally, he passed away a few weeks before DJ Dimples.
