Following on from last year’s incredible success, DJ Tira and his team will be dazzling guests once again at Hollywoodbets Durban’s Afrotainment Marquee this July.
The highly anticipated horse racing event is scheduled to take place on July 6 at Greyville Racecourse in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
Known for providing the ultimate in entertainment and hospitality, DJ Tira said Afrotainment Marquee will be no exception.
He said Citizen People can expect the usual lavishly decorated tents.
“We've spent a lot of money on making the tents look great. They have indoor and outdoor areas so people can choose to hang out outdoors or stay indoors with the VIPs in the tall tents. People have a choice.”
“We have a VIP area inside the store, we have a VIP area outside the store, but we also have entertainment, good food and teleportation.”

High Fashion and Entertainment
DJ Tira said that for the latest outfit, he worked with his favourite designer, Ole Redimo of House of Ole.
“I've already contacted Ole, who usually provides the costumes, so we're gearing up to do something amazing this year.”
As for this year's theme, Riding the WaveHe said: “In Durban, it's all about the sea, so if we start appreciating the waves and the sea, it connects us.”
“Participants should come to enjoy the race but not forget to ride some real waves on the beach afterwards. But this year we're taking part in the Durban July.”
He added that he expects very high fashion from those coming to the Afrotainment Marquee.
“I want the visitors to be impressed because the tents will be on another level, so if they bring their fashion and I bring a great tent, it will make for some great photos.”

Hollywoodbets Durban July (Saturday 6 July) will see fans return to Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse for the 128th running of the iconic race themed “Ride the Wave”.
Limited general admission tickets, which offer front-row views of the racing action from the grandstands or trackside lawns, live DJ performances and catwalk and public fashion competitions, are on sale from TicketPro, SPAR Payzone kiosks and selected Sasol stores for R230, with parking costing R170.
