Tebogo Thovejane has broken his silence on reports of bankruptcy in Dubai.
The actress left the country for several months because her life was in danger.
According to a report in Jimoja, sources close to the actress say that she is struggling with her lifestyle in Dubai.
The former Muvhango star addressed the reports in a now-deleted social media post on Monday night.
Tebogo acknowledged in a statement that her life has taken a different direction and she is dealing with a lot.
However, she accused the media of bullying.
“I'm dealing with a lot right now as everyone is concerned about my survival and financial hardship. Let's tackle this head on. My life has changed forever and my misery It seems like a popular story,” she wrote.
Tebogo spoke briefly about an attack in SA a few months ago in which his car was peppered with bullets.
“1 was attacked and is now trying to rebuild his life while battling extreme anxiety. I understand that I have registered to be a public figure and that my life is part of your entertainment. I'm doing it. It's pretty good.”
She also said there was a case pending in court and further slammed reports of her moving abroad.
“I don't talk about this much, but I have a pending lawsuit and am focused on my family and, of course, building my career.”
Ms Tebogo concluded her statement by saying she would accept any donations received.
“I have never mentioned deportation, but this kind of talk needs to stop. After the trauma I went through, I have a right to heal. Instead of focusing on me. Let's tackle the problem in this country where women are constantly being murdered. But if you're struggling financially, donations are greatly appreciated.”
