The Pan-Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) has said the passing of liberation struggle veteran Dr Motsoko Peko is a great loss to the party.
The former PAC president died Friday at the age of 93.
Tributes continue to pour in for Peko.
PAC Secretary-General Apa Phu described Peko as not only a great writer but also someone who spoke out on land issues.
“What I can say about Dr. Pheko is that he was a great writer. He documented a lot of things that were happening during the liberation struggle of this country and what PAC stands for. In Congress, he articulated the PAC's position on various aspects, especially the land issue, emphasizing that the struggle in this country is about land and the return of land to African people. should be seen as the legacy he left for all of us.”

Ramaphosa expresses condolences
President Cyril Ramapusa expressed his condolences to Peko's family and the entire PAC.
