The Prince and Princess of Wales thanked healthcare workers and charities around the world after confirming that Kate, Duchess of Wales, had returned home following surgery.
“The Prince and Princess would like to express their huge gratitude to the entire team at the London Clinic, especially the staff who provided such dedicated care,” the royal couple said on their social media pages.
Ms Middleton, 42, was hospitalized for two weeks after abdominal surgery.
“The Welsh family continues to be grateful for the blessings we have received from around the world.”
“The Princess of Wales has returned to her home in Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery. She is making good progress,” Kensington Palace announced on Monday.
The Princess of Wales is expected to return to royal duties only after Easter.
Middleton was admitted to the same clinic where her father-in-law, King Charles, was also treated.
King Charles was reportedly “very concerned” about the Princess of Wales after abdominal surgery.

The 75-year-old monarch has been discharged from hospital after undergoing surgery for enlarged prostate.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “The King has been discharged from hospital this afternoon after completing scheduled treatment and has rescheduled all future royal duties for a period of private recuperation.”
He also thanked the medical team for their treatment during his stay.
“He would like to thank the medical team and all those involved for supporting his hospital visit. He would also like to thank all the kind messages he has received over the past few days.”
In mid-January, Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Charles would undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate and would be heading to a private hospital for “corrective treatment” the following week.
Charles getting his prostate checked regularly has inspired other men to check themselves. It was recently reported that 14,996 more people visited England's National Health Service (NHS) website on Wednesday 17 January than the previous day, according to BBC NHS officials.
