The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) adopted the Declaration of Intent following a four-day National People's Conference at the Nasrec Expo Center in Soweto, Johannesburg.
Newly re-elected party secretary-general Marshall Dlamini made the announcement after a debate among more than 2,200 delegates.
Mr Dlamini also addressed the issue of building national capacity.
“We reaffirm our call for the abolition of tenders and the creation of state-owned enterprises in order to rebuild national capacity and promote state-led industrialization that will create millions of jobs. The threat posed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution will be recognized.
We are determined to advance technology development that serves people, not EFF profits, and to promote policies that prioritize the needs of workers and the poor in the face of automation and artificial intelligence. ”

Meanwhile, newly-elected EFF leader Julius Malema has accused the media of criticizing the outcome of the party's election conference held at Nasrec in Johannesburg.
The EFF has been criticized for the results of its top six officials, with some believing they were hand-picked by Malema.
However, the EFF disputes that the party's Third People's Congress produced a predetermined outcome.
In his acceptance and closing remarks, Malema said the party's election results demonstrate the unity of the EFF.
