We are writing this letter to draw your attention to pressing concerns regarding the safety and well-being of the crew, their families, and members of the crew record. J Morley has used social media platforms to attack, threaten and harass service members and their loved ones. This behavior is unacceptable and is causing significant distress and fear for their safety.
Considering the recent tragic loss of Aka, who was taken from us through violence, we can't help but feel a sense of urgency and alarm. We ask that you take immediate action to address this situation and ensure that the service member, his family, and his team are protected from harm.
“We at SAPS have a responsibility to ensure the safety and security of all members of the public, including our personnel and their loved ones. Should they be harmed, we will take timely and effective action. SAPS will be held accountable for its failure to do so.
We request that SAPS take the following steps:
- We will immediately investigate J Morley's threats and harassment.
- We will take the necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of our passengers.
- Hold J. Morley accountable for his actions.
