South African musician, Belita has publicly responded to her ex-husband Nota Baloyi's recent controversial comments.
The music executive, who is known for being outspoken, called Verita a “mistake”, sparking a variety of reactions from social media users.
Belita, who had been managing her life well since her divorce, took to social media to air her frustrations, declaring “enough is enough”.
She addressed the situation head on, stood up to the derogatory comments and refused to be put down.
The singer's outburst came after Nota Baloyi made some comments about the EFF political party, with Twitter users criticising her for marrying a foreigner, which further put Baloyi on the defensive.
The presenter quickly clarified the facts, saying, “The mistake has been corrected.”
Taking to Twitter, Belita revealed how Nota had tried to steal her funds and his clever ploy.
“Enough is enough! A year ago he threatened to bankrupt me if I divorced him. I ran away, evaded papers, spent all my money overseas. And now you want to play the hero? Please. I'm tired of his lies and manipulation,” she wrote.
Enough already!
