Eskom Chairman Mutet Nyati expressed optimism about Mr Malokane's return to the utility, underscoring his confidence in the CEO's abilities, leadership and the dedication of Eskom's staff.
“We expect Dan and his leadership team to accomplish at least two important missions. First, current business challenges must be addressed. Load shedding should be a thing of the past. .Secondly, we need to reposition and restructure Eskom to enable growth and sustainability,'' Nyati said.
The board also provided Mr Malokane with a list of challenges to address during his first 100 days in office, including assessing the power recovery plan, reviewing Eskom's separation plan and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. did.
