The World Food Forum will focus on the theme 'Good food for all, for today and tomorrow'. The event aims to bring together people of all ages from around the world to drive holistic, strategic and large-scale sustainable agri-food system transformation.
This event is a youth-led movement and network aimed at transforming agricultural systems. The movement recognizes that although everyone on earth needs good food to thrive, agricultural systems are facing increasing pressures from biodiversity loss, climate change, deforestation, soil degradation and more. I am aware of what I am facing.
This event will focus on four tracks. One is a youth gathering to empower and connect young change agents towards a sustainable global food system. An innovation lab that fosters innovation to end hunger and transform food systems through global competition and education to drive behavior change. Education for schools and youth groups to come together and take action. A culture that brings together the world's youth to inspire action to end hunger and transform food systems.
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Youth Initiative is a partnership between the World Food Program (WFP) Youth Network, the Office of the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Youth, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the International Labor Organization (ILO), and the UN High School for Human Rights.
