Everton secured their first home win in the Women's Super League this season thanks to late goals from Martina Piemonte and Aurora Galli.
In a closely contested match, Piedmont, who came on as a substitute in the second half, took the lead in the 83rd minute when he headed in Galli's free kick.
With four minutes remaining, Piedmont teed up fellow Italian Galli and fired a powerful shot into the top corner of the goal. Everton ended a four-game losing streak in the WSL with victory at Walton Hall Park.
More to come.
