Leicester City are “brave enough to dream” of FA Cup glory again after beating Bournemouth in the Premier League, says Foxes defender Conor Coady.
“This club knows better than anyone how good this competition is,” Coady said. BBC Radio Leicester.
“This is a big deal for all of us and we continue to be excited about it.”
Leicester beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final The East Midlands club had lost in each of their previous four final appearances, but lifted the trophy for the first time three years ago.
And with Leicester currently a second division club aiming to challenge for cup competitions, Coady said he believed “without a doubt” that they were capable of doing so.
“100% you have the courage to dream,” he said.
“First of all, we just came in and said, ‘Let’s go again.’ We’re in the semi-finals with one game left until Wembley.
“We'll see who gets it and what we'll do and prepare accordingly.”
Leicester advanced to Wednesday's draw with an away win against a top team, but victory on the south coast ended the Foxes' losing streak.
Defeat by middlesbrough and 2nd place Leeds United Leicester's lead in the Championship has shrunk from 12 points to six in a week.
Enzo Maresca's Foxes next face relegation-threatened Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
“This game was important for us to bounce back from two losses,” Cody said.
“I think that was huge. We were all excited about the game and all the players put in great shifts and played really well. But losing two on the spin is not what we wanted. , it was important to bounce back and do what we had to do — even if we played well in certain areas.
“We will prepare properly for the weekend because this is a big game and we all understand that, the supporters and the players.”
