Springbok scrumhalf Faf de Klerk and his wife Myne gave birth to their first child on February 27th at Rose Park Hospital in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
First child born to Faf de Klerk and my family
One of South Africa's most popular rugby stars, Springbok scrumhalf Faf de Klerk, has officially become a father. Pfaff is married to Mayne de Klerk, a pharmacist, and their first child was born on February 27th. Pfaff and Mine named the newborn “Remire de Klerk,” who was born at 37 weeks and 4 days old, weighing 2.85 kg and measuring 48 cm in length.
“Lemile de Klerk. February 27, 2024. 37 weeks and 4 days. 2.85 kg. 48 cm. We love you ❤️,” she wrote.
Mine surprised her fans by sharing photos from her baby shower without announcing her pregnancy. She becomes the second Springbok WAG to give birth this year, following the birth of a baby girl by Eben Ezebeth and his wife Anlia.
Handre Pollard and his wife Maryse are expecting a baby boy in April.
proud parents
The proud parents met through mutual friends in Hermanus in December 2015. Later, Mine invited Faf to her friend's wedding. Ms Pfaff moved to Manchester in 2017 when Ms Mine was working at her father's pharmacy in Postmasburg, Northern Cape. However, her distance and the coronavirus lockdown became too much of a strain on them both, and she decided to be just friends after that.
The Springbok scrum-half and Mine got back together in 2021, and Faf proposed in May 2022. The couple wed in October 2022 at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek.
