Many fans clearly heard media personality Liesl Laurie Mtombeni requesting that no one ask her questions or make them think she is pregnant if she has not announced it. But many others clearly missed that video.
This is evidenced by the number of comments on social media platform X suggesting that the Miss South Africa 2015 winner is baking bread in the oven.
Liesel Laurie Montbeni celebrates husband Dr. Moussa's graduation
Liesl and her husband, Dr Moussa Mthombeni, celebrated their graduation from the South African College of Diagnostic Radiologists this week. This comes after the former YoTV presenter completed his board-certified radiology qualification last year.
But while many people congratulated Dr. Moussa, others commented that Liesl's stomach appeared larger than normal in some of the couple's photos.
“Can’t wait to meet our little one,” one post from X said.
However, another article said, “We may celebrate them again in the coming months.”
Fans defend Liesel Object to assuming that X users are pregnant
However, fans were quick to slam these comments.
“This is strange behavior. If a woman doesn't announce that she's pregnant, don't say anything. And I want everyone to stop this nonsense of saying she's pregnant every time she posts. I’m pleading,” one X user said.
Another said: “Liesel asked me to leave her womb alone, but here you are.” [sic]”
“I'm blocking you”
In September 2023, Liesl gave a scathing response to people speculating that we're pregnant.
At the time, the former Jacaranda FM presenter recorded a video giving a stern warning to people posting insensitive comments about his personal life.
“If you post a comment on my page that hints at pregnancy, I will block you, and I hope others will do the same and block anyone who makes a comment like this.” [make] Inappropriate comment.
“As women, our bodies go through a lot. So, no, Jennifer, I'm not hiding my pregnancy or pregnancy. I get bloated because I'm on my period; As women, we should understand that because it happens.”
Liesl also advised intruders to wait for the pregnancy announcement if they are pregnant.
