Polokwane's Westernburg Police Station confirmed to The Citizen that it has been investigating Shevasht's car accident since last week.
Rapper Shebashxt bought a new car after getting into a car accident a week ago. His previous Golf GTI, which he bought for cash, was written off for around R400,000.
The price of the new car has not yet been revealed, but Shehbashist's video shows two Polos side by side in the same garden.
Shebashust, whose real name is Lehogonolo Chauke, was uninjured in a car accident, but the car he used for two months was soon scrapped.
The accident reportedly occurred on the way from Seshego to Polokwane town centre. The rapper reportedly sought medical attention after the accident and was later released. On his own YouTube channel, he titled a video showing a scrapped car, as if the loss of traffic lights was due to load shedding.

He also talked about the appeal of living on the edge. “I love the adrenaline,” he said.
“Even if Satan calls me and tells me to perform in hell, I'll go, I love dangerous things. When I was younger I watched the Chucky movies and was scared. Now So I’m not afraid of anything,” Shebasht said in an interview with the Chill With McG podcast.
