AEW continues to stream the dream match with the first match of Bryan Danielson vs. Yuji Nagata highlighting this weekend's Collision.
American Dragon engaged in a frenetic and brutal match with ring technician Nagata.

At the start of the match, Nagata placed Bryan in a wristlock, but Bryan escaped and locked up with his opponent.

Nagata quickly returned to attack, provoking Bryan with corner kicks and stomps.
Brian was soon back in kind.

American Dragon tried to suplex Nagata and lock him in an armbar, but the veteran rolled into the ropes, forcing the referee to call for a break of the hold.
Danielson starts working on Nagata's knee and dropkicks Nagata's joints trapped in the ropes. He followed up with a shotgun dropkick from above and crushed Nagata with a series of hammer and anvil elbows. Nagata counters with an exploder suplex. It made Eddie Kingston pop on commentary.

As the match progressed, the former All Japan Triple Crown champion was aiming for a Nagata lock. Danielson was having trouble escaping. He hits a heel hook in return. However, Nagata escapes and defeats Danielson with the Justice Boot.

Danielson tries to headbutt Nagata from the top rope, but Nagata doesn't back down and Blue Justice shows off his monster fighting spirit. Nagata hits an avalanche exploder and puts Danielson in a Fujiwara armbar. Danielson reached the ropes with a boot, forcing the referee to break the hold.
Danielson with a dragon screw leg whip on Nagata. Danielson and Nagata exchange roundhouse kicks. Danielson caught Nagata with a kick to the back of the head. Danielson rocks Nagata with a running knee strike and pins him!
Danielson and Nagata shook hands after the match, showing their respect for each other. On his way back to the dressing room, Danielson flicked Kingston away.
