The newly established National Financial Ombud Scheme (NFO) has appointed former Chief Banking Ombud Liana Stein as its first Ombud Director.

She has a BCom (Law) and LLB and is a qualified solicitor having worked for approximately nine years at the law firm Norton Rose Fulbright.
Ms Stein is also the first woman to hold the position of Ombud for Banking Services.
