- Ten suspects have been arrested in connection with the road spiking incident and robbery.
- SAPS said an 11th man was shot dead after charging at police.
- The spike incident occurred on the N1, N4 and R80 routes in the Tshwane area.
Police in Gauteng have arrested 10 suspects in connection with a road spike incident.
SAPS said another suspect charged at police and was shot dead.
The incident occurred on Saturday following information received by police regarding the whereabouts of a road spike suspect on National Highways 1, 4 and the R80 in the Tshwane area.
The suspects were also wanted in connection with various robberies.
Gauteng police spokesperson Brigadier Brenda Mlidili said the team went to a house in Winterveld near Mabopane that was used to run an illegal shebeen and found 10 men and one woman running the shebeen. I faced the name.
