Makazi's show is scheduled for December 21st at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Minister for Sport, Arts and Culture Gayton McKenzie has pledged to purchase 200 tickets for Makazi's much-anticipated concert.
This comes after the award-winning singer jokingly complained about ticket sales for her one-woman show.
She tweeted that tickets for Chris Brown's concert sold out in just two hours, after trying to sell them out for two months.

“South Africa [is a] movie. That means it will take 10 years to sell out Peter Mokaba Stadium. [You gave] Chris Brown 2 hours…. Buy your tickets before you cry,” she wrote.
Gayton McKenzie: “Buy 200 Tickets”
The minister said he was prepared to buy 200 tickets for anyone who wanted to attend the concert.
“I'm going to go there and buy 200 tickets for anyone who wants to accompany Peter Mokaba to see one of the biggest stars in the world,” he wrote.

About Makazi's one-man play
Makazi's show is scheduled for December 21 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Limpopo.
The show, organized by the singer's events company Mahaji Events, sold out with only early bird tickets priced at R70.
The line-up also includes other female music stars such as Nkosazana Daughter, Lwa Ndlunkulu and Kharishma.
“Goddess Ruwa Ndlungkulu will appear at Peter Mokaba Stadium on December 21st. Janeesh Janesh and Abi wa Mampela Bale Ke Territory Ya Makonpo and it is taking over.” Makazi wrote while announcing further appearances on X.
