Gayton McKenzie addresses celebrities who use social media to bully government officials.
Although the Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture did not mention any names, netizens flooded the comments with references to celebrities who may have inspired him.
“Many celebrities use social media to bully government officials, and they want us to jump on them when they speak out,” he began the tweet.
Gayton further stated that he would not accept being bullied.
“I'm different. Gone are the days when you had exclusive access. You may be famous, but you're no more important than other artists. We treat people equally. @SportArtsCultur,” he added.
One of the many comments came from Nota Baloi, who was just released from parole after being sentenced to 60 days in prison in late 2023.
A CONTROVERSIAL music company executive has told a minister he needs a job.
“I have just finished parole and will volunteer wherever my skills and unparalleled experience are needed. I’m committed to doing what I can to empower…prioritize those who want to get behind the wheel!”
