Nonhle Tema says God saved her by closing the door on the entertainment industry.
On a recent episode of Hazel's podcast, the media personality spoke candidly about her fall and its causes.
“God closed the door on me in the entertainment industry, where contracts and all the worldly things that people had given me were taken away.”
At first I thought, God, why, but God saved me.
Nonhle says she was too young to understand everything she was going through at the time because she thought everyone liked her and didn't know she had enemies lurking.

In 2023, Nonhle spoke on the program “Unfollowed” about how he came to his downfall.
She called herself a monster because she fought with people and lost deals.
“It was a battle with myself, my ego, my pride. I lost sight of who God was in my life because I now found myself at war with people. It was about respect. I thought this was the only way to get this respect, because I had to step up and make people fear me. It was like giving up my cell phone. It seemed like I couldn’t even do it.”
“I couldn't be anywhere and I couldn't be with people. I was so wrapped up in everything and what everyone was saying all the time because of my ego. My ego was the only thing that kept me and We were running together,” she said.
“I was so full of myself back then, so obsessed with myself. I was such a terrible person. I became a monster before myself, before the world.”
“I lost a lot of support. I mean I lost probably $10 million at a time. I lost a lot of money.”
