The life of murdered Pretoria businessman and entertainer Peter Mashata Mabuse will be remembered at a memorial service on Thursday. It will be held at Tshwane University of Technology Pretoria West Campus from 2pm.
Mashata was shot dead in the early hours of Sunday morning when an unknown number of assailants opened fire on the car he was traveling in after the All Blacks with Mashata event at Epogini Lifestyle in Soshanguve.

The passenger was shot and wounded in the left shoulder.
In addition to the memorial service, a wreath will be laid at his parents' home in Block U, Mabopane, on Saturday 27th April from 2pm to 5pm. His funeral will be held at 8 a.m. the next day at Acacia Community Hall.
A memorial concert will be held at the Imperial Palace on Thursday night to honor his musical talent. Proceeds will be donated to the Mabuse family.
Police have since opened a murder and attempted murder investigation and asked anyone with information to contact them on 08600 10111.
