“I regret the comment I made to Kristal at the dinner party: 'You can't be traumatized because you're white.'”
Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip — South Africa It's dramatic, sly, funny and downright outrageous, all wrapped up in true Housewives style.
The star-studded cast includes Beverley Stein (Real Housewives of Cape Town S1); Crystal Kay (Real Housewives of Johannesburg S1-2); Laconco (The Real Housewives of Durban S1-2); Lethabo Lijoy Mataso (Real Housewives of Johannesburg S2-3); Liz Prince (The Real Housewives of Gukebera S1); Rondy London (The Real Housewives of Durban S2); Melanie Viljoen (The Real Housewives of Pretoria S1); Nonku Williams (The Real Housewives of Durban S1-4).
The dramatic season finale showed the aftermath of a heated argument between longest serving Housewife Nonku Williams and her Durban co-star Londy London. The pair, who have been best friends for a long time, got into a heated argument two days before the end of their trip when Nonku asked Londy why she had come to Jamaica.
We got in touch with Liz Prince, a fan favorite this season who's known for her sharp wit, and true to character, she didn't hesitate to share some insight on the show, her friendships, and some much-talked-about off-screen drama.
What was your experience like with “Ultimate Girls Trip”?
We had such a great time. Jamaica is a beautiful country and the people are amazing. We enjoyed spending time at the villa and getting to know the ladies. Meeting Alton and his team was the highlight. They were so helpful and looked after us so well.
How was it different from The Real Housewives of Gqeberha?
in contrast The Real Housewives of GukeberaI got along well with all the women and built friendships with them. They are stylish and have great senses of humor, unlike the women on the show.
Are you close with any of your Housewives cast members?
Yes, that’s right. I am good friends with my alliance which includes Bev, Lethabo, Nonku, and truly, I have a good relationship with all the ladies and communicate with them regularly.
If you could change anything that happened during your trip, what would you change?
I regret what I said to Kristol at the dinner party: “You can't be traumatized because you're white.” I was angry at all of them at that moment, and I'm truly sorry about that.
I emailed Kristal apologizing because I felt really bad and sorry, but she and I had talked about it and I told her I was truly sorry.
There was a lot of drama behind the scenes, how did you come away from that?
I avoided them and spent time with Mr. Jack Daniel, who accompanied me to stay out of trouble.
What's the best thing about being a reality TV star?
The best part about being a reality TV star is the love I receive. I'm overwhelmed by the fact that so many people message me and show me their love. I'm so grateful for my fans' love and support. I love reading their words.
How do you deal with the attention and how has it changed your life?
Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip It's given me more recognition. I feel like more people know me. I'm so famous now that the show is on Showmax, and I'm so happy. Wherever I go, people recognise me. But it also has a downside. Being a runner, sometimes I'm not at my best and people stop me and ask to take pictures while I'm training. But I don't mind. It's the nature of this industry.
you, The ultimate girls trip?
Yes, I keep in contact with all the women, including Mel. She and I have spoken and I am glad we have both moved on and become friends.
Could you please do another show for housewives?
Absolutely! Being on this show was one of the best experiences of my life. Everything was amazing, from the travel to meeting the women. It was a really positive experience. If there is a second season, I would love to participate again!
