On Father's Day, he received heartfelt tributes and well wishes from celebrities across the country, including: Izingane Zestembu.
Abou Mseleku, who was away from home that day, said: Citizen She hadn't planned anything due to work commitments.
However, she said she had sent a message to her father, Musa Mseleku, who she added: “We usually cook a proper meal and buy a cake. I'm not at home so there are no traditions in Johannesburg. It's just for me.”
Mpiloenhle Mseleku also said she had written a heart-warming letter to her father.
She added, “From the countless lessons he taught to his endless sacrifices, his actions have always spoken louder than words. He embodies strength, kindness and resilience and shows what it means to live with integrity.”

Vuyo Vieira
of Sibongile and Dlaminis The star said he believes being a father comes first.
“I am a father before I am an actor, so balance is not an issue for me. Despite my busy schedule, I always make time to spend with my kids. When I'm not on call, we love playing educational board games. My son loves football, so my daughter and I are always there to support him at his training and games.”
“Every night before bed, my daughter always puts on a live singing and dancing performance and we all have a good laugh.”
Ayanda Makai
Known for his role as Stalky Gukeberha: EmpireMackay said balancing work and responsibilities is never easy, especially being far away from her children.
He explained: “He's in Johannesburg and I'm here in Gqebela, but it's important to always remember what and why I'm here, and that's for him and to be a father who can provide for him.”
“Lwandru loves swimming so I try to take him to lessons whenever I can. We also love singing together in baby talk.”

Duma Ndlovu
The legendary playwright and producer said balancing his busy career with his role as a father has also been a challenge.
He added: “But I've always made it a priority to make time for my children. We always get together, share meals and laugh.”
“When I'm not working, I enjoy storytelling, weekend drives to the village, family nights and other activities that my family and children enjoy. These moments are precious to me and I cherish the bond we share.”
