SuperSport United head coach Gavin Hunt has coached some of the most talented natural footballers in his 30 years of coaching.
Some of the most successful players he coached include Dain Kreit, Elias Perembe Masibusan, Teko Modise and Kermit Erasmus.

Hunt also coached players who did not reach their potential, one of whom was Masibusane Zongo.
The former SuperSport United dribbling wizard played under Hunt during his time at SuperSport, but indiscipline saw the 33-year-old leave Pretoria Giants.

During his interview at This is soccer, this is Africa On the podcast, Hunt said Zongo was a handful as a player but a great person.
“The team that won the league had Zongo and Dane Kreit on the left wing. Zongo trick used to frustrate Gavin Hunt
“And I looked again and he plays right wing and right back, so I said, 'What are you doing here?' And he said he wants to play football, and I said you're not going to play in this team, stay on the left wing and we'll let you play the ball. Anyway, he stayed there, won the ball, put in a cross. , we won the game,” Hunt said.

Hunt said Zongo often attempted no-look passes or “tricks” during matches and had to be reprimanded many times.
“We played against Brøndby in Denmark in a friendly. We go to Polokwane, it’s 30 degrees, it’s fucking boiling, and we win 4-0 and Zongo is on the bench. So I said, ‘Zongo, come on, Zongo. , don't fiddle with the ball wide, just play the ball into the box. That's your job.'

“He did a trick two minutes after coming on. I stopped the game and took him away, never played, and kicked him out,” Hunt said.
A fan favorite, 'Zizo' went on to play for Vasco da Gama, Chippa United and Platinum Stars.
