Sabelo Mgbe distances himself from sangoma battles
Sabelo Mgbe says he will not get involved in the dispute between his wife Gogo Maweni and Gogo Skoteni.
The two traditional healers have been in a long battle, but it doesn't look like it's going to end anytime soon as they continue to dig up suspicions about each other.
Skoteni recently revealed that Sabelo is gay. Maweni responded to the allegations by debunking a famous rumor about Skoteni and Musa Mseleku's son Mpumelelo.
“If you have nothing to say, please be silent, because the same Constitution Hill you are talking about is where you were busy with Mseleku’s son,” she said.
Reacting to the fight between women, the businessman said: “When I think of female sangomas, I automatically think of only two female sangomas: Maweni and Sukoteni.”
Mugube went on to talk about how the fight started, claiming it started when she called Gogo Skoteni's husband a “yellow bone”.
“I think she literally took it negatively and thought I was disrespecting him, so she stuck with it,” Sabelo-Mugbe explained.
“We're men, so I understand how men joke with each other. But it got to the point where he blocked me,” he added.
“I have said before that I don't want to get involved in women's fights. I see people on my side asking me to intervene,” Mugube said.
“But as a man I can't do that. I don't take these things seriously.”
