Is South African musician The Kiffness climbing the Billboard charts with his unexpected Donald Trump parody hit “Eating the Cats”?
Over the years, David Scott (aka The Kiffness) has developed a cult following for his unconventional remixes of internet sensations and quirky musical “collaborations” with animals.
The Cape Town musician, producer and parody artist's fame has spread beyond borders, garnering him international acclaim, with the likes of actress Whoopi Goldberg and American musician Questlove counted among his fans of his work.
In 2021, Questlove, the drummer and co-frontman of hip-hop band The Roots, performed hits by The Kiffness. Algargue Cat Spread the love on Instagram and soon Deadpool 2 Star actor Ryan Reynolds was a big fan of the catchy tune.

“Eating Cat”: Kiffness plays Trump
His latest parody masterpiece, Eat cat, teeth A remix of Donald Trump's bizarre claim during a presidential debate about Haitian immigrants eating their pets in Springfield, Ohio, is going viral.
The artist's humorous take on the baseless statement became a hot topic on the Internet, reaching 50 million views in one day.

The musical parody genius, who is currently on tour in Europe, posted an update to his X account: Eating cat is the #3 trending song on YouTube.
In a late-night teaser post, he wrote that he received an email from Billboard Charts.
Kiffness gives back to Springfield's dogs and cats
In true Kiffnes style, Scott has pledged to use his musical platform for the greater good of animals and humans, and to donate royalties from the song to the Springfield SPCA.
At the time of writing, he had already raised over $12,000 (more than R210,500) on YouTube alone.
Over the years, the musician has donated hundreds of thousands of rands to various charities.
“I wanted to use this madness to do something positive. If I can turn this ridiculous situation into something that helps our furry friends, then that's a win,” the influential YouTuber said. Good Things Guy.

Earlier this year, Kiffnes raised more than R1 million to support eight-year-old Rylin Clarke, who is battling Lyme disease.
At just four years old, Lilin made waves with her adorable rendition of Bob Marley. Three Little Birds This was during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Inspired by Rylin's heartfelt vocals, Scott sampled his performance on one of his signature remixes in 2020.
Four years have passed since then, and young Rylin's life has taken a difficult turn since being diagnosed with Lyme disease about two years ago.
The Kiffnes re-shared the song in July and launched a GoFundMe campaign to help with Rylin's medical expenses.
In addition to donations, Scott hopes the song, which is now available on Spotify and other streaming platforms, will continue to provide Rylin with a passive income.
