A woman's revelation that she spends R8,000 too much a week on groceries at Woolworths has left many South Africans stunned.
Desire Bandeira, a digital marketer and influencer, shared a viral video on her TikTok account.
The Woolworths brand is commonly known as a “high-end” grocery store due to its quality and variety.

In the video, the blonde revealed that she had set aside a small fortune to spend on grocery shopping at Woolworths.
She said: She said: “My weekly shopping budget is her R8,000 and I plan to stick to it.''
After overloading her cart, the woman joked and laughed about being overloaded. A glance at the cash register screen shows a total of R10 463,17.
She casually captioned the clip: “I tried to come up with a budget, but it didn’t work out.
“I'm just not a 'save money' type of person…I had the best intentions.”
