Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Andile Jali has no club yet, but he is not without suitors, according to the latest reports.
Is Andil Jali going to Amazulu?
According to Soccer Laduma, Jali may find a new home in Dhaba.
They report that “AmaZulu FC is one of the possible destinations for free agent Andile Hari following his unceremonious departure from Morooka Swallows.”
Jali had filed a legal challenge to his dismissal from Swallows.
His legal challenge failed miserably and was dismissed at cost.
It gives the 33-year-old something to think about as he considers his future steps.
His tenure at Swallows began with great promise, but ended in failure.
The fact that he was paired with former coach Steve Kompela was a great sign for the former Bafana Bafana international, but what looked like a masterstroke reunion has now gone down the drain.
Why Kaizer Chiefs transfer failed
Not too long ago, Jali had a chance to join Kaizer Chiefs.
However, due to contractual issues, he was not going to take advantage of that opportunity.
“The way they did their contracts at the time, I said no. [approach me]they did,” he said on MSWOn947 with Robert Marawa.
“So the Kaiser [Motaung Jr] He was mentioning it because he knows he was there too. I never said no to them. The deal just didn't happen. [well] between the parties. Some agreements were not good.
“The Chiefs have a clause.” [about image rights].they will own [what you say] It tells you what to post on Instagram, Facebook, and everything else. It's impossible. So they can't tell me my image rights. That wasn't possible.yes [that was the deal breaker]”
Jali trolled reports that he did not join the Chiefs because they did not give him the number 15 jersey.
“no [there was never such a conversation]. “Without a contract, we can't talk about numbers,” he said.
“Do you want to talk about jersey numbers when you haven't even come to practice?'' That's impossible. “
