Intrigue thickens in Billiat race
Popular prophet Walter Magaya, owner of top league team Yada Stars, attended a welcoming party for Khama Billiat on Tuesday night. Billiat departed from Gabriel Mugabe International Airport with Magaya. However, Dynamoc FC vice-chairman Vincent Chawonza doesn't seem too worried.
“We would not have entered the contract race with Khama Billiat if we did not have the ability to pay him what he wants,” Chawonza said.
“We are continuing negotiations with him and everything is going well. We will make an announcement as soon as the contract is signed.”

Dynamos left alone by former Kaizer Chiefs star Billiat?
Khama Billiat landed in Harare on Tuesday, but before Dynamos fans could get a proper look, the attacker was whisked away by a prominent local prophet and club owner. Currently, there are various opinions floating around about the possibility of a twist in this story. Latest reports suggest three Zimbabwean clubs are interested in signing Billiat, who has been left clubless almost eight months ago following his acrimonious exit from Kaizer Chiefs. Those clubs are Dynamos, Ngezi Platinum Stars and Caps United.
With a return to the DStv Premiership yet to materialize, the 33-year-old is aiming to return to his homeland. Dynamos supporters welcomed him on Tuesday night, but they were not alone.
