Tito Mboweni posted his own hilarious post on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday, April 18th.
Netizens react to Tito MBOWENI's latest Lucky Star Pilchard post
Tito Mboweni His recent posts reveal that he doesn't take life too seriously. South Africa's former finance minister apparently stumbled across a photo of himself inside a Lucky Star can. He decided to post a photo on his timeline that transfixed his social media followers.
“Mara [but] why? ” he captioned.
There appears to be no suggestion on the Lucky Star website that they have welcomed Mboweni as an ambassador. At this point, it appears that this can was simply created by a mischievous social media user.
However, Mboweni's fans were outraged by his post and thought he was well on his way to becoming the brand's new ambassador. Since then, they've been giving hilarious reactions to his posts in the comments section.
according to Tsusa LIVE, social media users called on popular South African chef Siva Mtongana to “humbly intervene” in the matter after Mboweni posted his previous meal. The 65-year-old former politician, who is well known for overusing garlic, tomatoes and onions in his recipes, drew screams from netizens after showing off his homemade dinner.
According to the paper, Mboweni was attempting to make a lamb stew, an unusual choice for a former minister who often makes sardines and chicken.
“Okay, Mzansi, let's be fair. The former finance minister's cooking has improved tremendously. You have to have 'belief'. No need for my intervention…
“Besides the size of the garlic and onions, give him kudos, baarali, please.” [people]. He's really working hard to improve. So, I guess this lamb stew isn't too bad? ” the famous chef reportedly said.
