Lady Du announces new single, underrated Starring Nkosazana Daughter, Imos, Professor and 4 others.
On Monday, the South African singer took to Instagram to reveal what inspired the title of a single from her upcoming NGWENYA EP.
The title of the EP is the name of her family and she is excited about the project.
“I am an African child from the Ngwenya family!!” I have been through so much in life, I would be so proud of my grandfather if he were alive. On the 10th, we'll be releasing the first single from our EP, NGWENYA, with the most amazing vocalist ever, @nkosazana_daughter. He really taught me a lot about himself in a short amount of time!”
“I finally got to release my EP on my actual birthday, May 17th. I worked with people I think South Africa needs to meet!!! Vocal powerhouses, I I chose the title UNDERRATED to represent all artists who feel like they should be somewhere, but have a lot of things going on that keep them from being great. ”
