In their final act of the year, music group Jesus Collective will come to Cape Town to spread the gospel.
Ensemble founder Hilton Petersen said: The Citizen Their evangelistic work is just excerpts from the book of Christ.
“Jesus says in His Word that those who come after me will do great things. This is evangelism. They're just taking the same model and going out and sending a message of hope,” Petersen said.
The Jesus Collective is an evangelical music organization dedicated to uplifting communities through gospel music and mentoring up-and-coming musicians from traditionally underserved areas.
The organization partners with prominent South African artists and community leaders to mentor and tour these musicians as part of the Jesus Collective.
The final outreach of the year will be held at Siloam Ministries in Cape Town's Protea Park. Outreach is free and open to the public.

end of this year
For its final act, the collective welcomed artists Loyiso Bala and Kaya Msweswa.
Peterson said the presence of two prominent singers shows that they bought into the group's vision in the same way Noah's family in the Bible bought into the vision of building the ark. He said it was an expression.
“You can clearly see that they believe in a vision. It was Noah who gave the Lord the word to build the ark. His wife and children had to buy into that vision. But it shows that they bought into that vision, and that's very much appreciated.”
“This time is special because it's our last and we get to rest and spend time with our families. Basically, we get to know the effort we've put in so far this year. “We can see how God has protected us this year,” he said.
Petersen said he conducted about 12 relief efforts throughout the year. This event is also held in poor towns where people would never have the opportunity to experience performances by famous artists.
