Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Buvuma has been branded a “thug” after threatening to punch a ball boy during a match against Richards Bay on Sunday, April 21.
A video circulating on social media shows defenders chasing the boy as he runs away in fear.
The Chiefs also faced the wrath of angry fans after losing the game.
Amakhosi lost 1-0 in the DStv Premiership match at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban.

A clip posted on the X platform shows a frustrated Bruce Buvma chasing a ball boy wearing a purple uniform. The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper pointed the finger at the boy, but the boy jumped over the barricade and ran away.
Buvuma was seen saying the words “Nzokushaya genpama”. [I’m going to slap you]”.

After the loss to Richards Bay, coach Cabin Johnson expressed his disappointment.
He told SuperSport: “We missed so many chances… We just didn't put it in the back of the net.”
“What can you do? It's like a jammed record. You have to go back and make sure the ball goes in the back of the net. Everything else is there.”
He added: “It's not just the players. We all have to take responsibility.”

Although his suspension for misconduct has officially ended, the star player has yet to receive game time.
