Kaizer Chiefs' teenage prodigy Mfundo Vilakazi said he was happy with his performance on his official senior debut at Amakhosi on Sunday.
He made his debut in the Nedbank Cup match against Milford FC when Amakhosi were sent off for shock.
The teenager came on as a substitute in the second half and showed confidence and maturity beyond his teenage years with his sure touch and positional awareness.

“I was very excited and happy to make my debut. Personally, I think we did well as a first match. We didn't give away much of the ball, but we're all disappointed with this result,” Vilakazi said. He said on the Chiefs website.
Kaizer Chiefs fans have called on the technical team to include the teenager in the first team after he showed promise in the Carling Black Label Cup against Stellenbosch.

“I'm really grateful to be at a club like Kaizer Chiefs. I'm learning every day,” he added.
“I have a lot of senior players who teach me how to conduct myself as a Kaizer Chiefs player on and off the field. They give me advice to become a better player and keep improving.”
Vilakazi said the next matches will be important to get back to winning ways.
“The game against Swallows is a must-win game for us because the supporters are not happy at the moment, so I think we have to go for a win to satisfy them. has been training hard and is determined to play well.”
Kaizer Chiefs, who lost to Milford in their previous match, will host struggling Morooka Swallows. Kick-off will take place on Saturday at 17:45 at FNB Stadium.
Amakhosi is placed 6th on the log.
