Kelly Khumalo calls her colleague sangoma to order
Kelly Khumalo has shared her thoughts on the ongoing feud between celebrity sangomas Gogo Maweni and Gogo Skoteni.
The singer, who recently became a traditional healer, addressed the growing tension between Makgotso 'Gogo Maweni' Mokopo and Patricia 'Gogo Skoteni' Motsoneng.
Mr Skoteni accused Mr Maweni of wearing fake Gucci and not owning a car, but said Mr Maweni had lied and said he was the owner of Mr Skoteni's new club Cavo. I objected.
The conflict escalated when Maweni and her allies accused Skoteni of asking her estranged husband Mondo to have a relationship with Dominic Zaka and hinting at Mondo's sexuality.
In her video, Khumalo expressed her concerns without passing judgment and stressed the importance of respecting the sanctity of their spiritual role.
She urged them to respect Isigodro, a sacred space of consultation, and said, “Respect the secrets of Isigodro. Respect the secrets of your ancestors. Respect the secrets of Amakhosi. People shouldn't know what you're doing in a private space.”
Ms Khumalo also offered her perspective and advised the two sangomas to uphold the dignity of their divine mission. She emphasized the need to promote their spiritual practices while not compromising the sacredness of their gifts.
“Sisters, this is not good. It devalues the gift of healing that you have been given. At some point, you will see people in dangerous situations. , it is something that must be hidden at all costs,” she said.
